My son the 8th grader has been assigned to spend the week-end in the attic (a closet for New Yorkers), the "feel" the experience of Anne Frank.

"Dad", he said with a slight whisper, "We will have to be quiet and only make a little noise at night."

It will be difficult for him to contemplate life in the closet without his iPod. Now he will understand how his father felt. Not easy.
